Gabe's Information Report on an Orchestra

Harp

An orchestra is a huge group of people that make music. Every orchestra has a conductor out front. An orchestra has four sections of instruments. The sections are string, brass, woodwind and percussion.

The string section of the orchestra is played by plucking or by being rubbed by a bow.

The percussion section of the orchestra is played by being hit with your hands or sticks. My favourite percussion instrument is the snare drum.

The third section of the orchestra is called the woodwind section, this section is made out of wood. You play wind instruments by blowing air into the mouth piece.

The last section is called the brass family. The brass section is made out of golden metal and silver metal.

All these musical sections combined make amazing music.
